Socks 1, cellotape 15
Apparently i'm slacking.........Private Sector has just had to remind me that the dojbloj needs updating as i'm going international at christmas. Well i can't help help it if i'm getting a bit forgetful, i lead such a busy life, you know. Take last week (or was it the week before?) - i had to cope with furniture rearrangement at the holiday home which meant that my usual place on the rug had moved - i tried to get on the couch (tried each of the three couches in turn) but no luck there so i had to sit in front of the fire and get my bottom nicely toasted. Life's really hard you know. And then we are still out walking in the dark and it's a bit cold when i come in so i have to spend the next hour or so welded to the radiator. And then there's food duty......i've got my own spot wedged in the corner, sitting very elegantly you'll notice, keeping an eye on the table.
The only bad spot of the last couple of weeks has been the reappearance of THE SOCK! I made the mistake of being caught scratching the scabby bit on my face in full view of TOWFM and so got socked....to make matters worse the sock has a picture of a cat called a pummer on it but at least TOWFM managed to cover that up with the fifteen reels of cellotape he used to keep the sock on. THEY think it 'did the trick' (whatever that means).... but i know i didn't want to keep scratching it anyway. At least i was allowed to take it off when i went out for a pee'n'poo (i hate to think what state it would have been in when you got back in Tara, do you think we're daft? - blogmitarbeiter#1).
Oh goody goody, i hear we are off for a W on salisburyplain tomorrow morning so i can get really muddy again and mess up the new comfy fleecy they've bought me (something about my bed looking like the western front in 1918 (oh, if it's 1918 that means there's only just over an hour until M time). Time for the perimeter patrol now.............
